ANPS Fall Meeting, Auctions and Field Trips and Plant Nerds, oh my!

The community of Dardanelle was invaded by Arkansas Native Plant Society (ANPS) members. The featured event on Friday was the annual ANPS Plant Auction. Invasive Removal at Pruitt

Volunteers from Buffalo National River Partners, Arkansas Native Plant Society, Arkansas Audubon, and the Ozark Society gathered at Pruitt near the Buffalo National River to remove the invasive rose of Sharon, Hibiscus syriacus, from areas near the native and globally threatened Alabama snow-wreath, Neviusia alabamensis.
