Botanists from around the state lead these enjoyable and informative walks. Please let trip leaders know you are coming in case of last minute changes. Be sure to call them if the weather is uncertain.

June 13th – 14th – BioBlitz at Ninestone, Carroll County

Leaders: Judith Griffith & Don Matt
Time: Not yet determined.

Judith Griffith and Don Matt will host a BioBlitz at Ninestone Land Trust.

A BioBlitz is defined as an intense period of biological surveying to record as many living species as possible within a designated area. Groups of scientists, naturalists, and volunteers conduct an intensive field study over a continuous time period (e.g., usually 24 hours).

Those interested in attending are welcome to contact Judy Griffith at 9waterfall9@gmail.com for further information as it becomes available.

Closer to the event it will be important that Judy and Don know how many people to expect.
